How to Get There

Borinquen Mountain Resort & Spa is conveniently located at a short distance from the city of Liberia, and the Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR). Getting there is part of the adventure! One third of the road to the hotel is gravel, however, it is well maintained and accessible year round with most vehicles, though 4×4 are recommended especially during the rainy season.

Borinquen is located roughly 47 kilometers NE from the Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR), and 32 kilometers NNE from Liberia, the drive should take approximately 1.15 minutes from the airport and 40 minutes from Liberia.

Upon leaving the airport, make a left and follow highway 21 towards Liberia. When you get to the «traffic lights» («los semáforos» as local people know that corner), make a left and follow the Interamerican Highway (CI 1) N towards La Cruz for about 12 kilometers until you reach the cross-road to Cańas Dulces. Make a right towards the town, you will pass the park and church of Cańas Dulces, keep going and follow the main road and the signs to the hotel. Borinquen Mountain Resort & Spa is 15.7 kilometers past Cañas Dulces. At the stone fence intersection, turn left for 3 kilometers to the hotel. You will soon be there!.
