To make your stay more pleasant we have designed several tour options where you can fully enjoy the property.

Enjoy an exciting journey through the mountains and pastures, with beautiful panoramic views, from the Guanacaste Mountain Range to the North Pacific coast. An energizing walk through the trails inside the forest will take you to the Misterio & Escondida Waterfalls (they are approximately 30 and 15 meters high). You can hike or go on a horseback riding.

A unique experience! Start with a horseback ride to the first platform. Then, do you have what it takes to fly over the treetops, zipping across the canyon and in front of the breathtaking Borinquen Waterfall? This is the most exciting and breath-taking experiences around. This Canopy has 15 platforms and 12 cables.

Enjoy paradise in the morning, immersing yourself in a walk in open areas and the forest where you can observe animals as beautiful as birds, which can be admired around our property. On this tour there is the possibility of seeing many birds since there is a count of 257 species, such as, for example, 5 species of toucans, parakeets, parrots, hawks, hawks, seedbeds, among others.

Enjoy a night walk of unique experience in our property with the scenic beauty of our nights. Starting at the reception of the Hotel, passing through the trails of the Mystery & Escondida Waterfalls and, leaving the path towards Tempisque with the route to the stable and ending at the reception of the Resort, based on the studies of the areas, there is the possibility of seeing amphibians, reptiles as well as mammals and birds in their nocturnal activity.

An energetic walk through up the mountain and thru the forest to the top of the mountain where you can enjoy the most amazing panoramic views; from Rincón de la Vieja Volcano to the Orosí Volcano and Cacao Mount , and from the Papagayo Peninsula to the Santa Elena Peninsula.

This activity requires considerable physical effort and is recommended only for active people. Not recommended for children under 12 or people with respiratory or heart conditions, or people who have physical limitations.

A 100% adrenaline hike through the forest, in which you enter the mountain around the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, where you can enjoy the most surprising panoramic views; and observe species such as tapirs, tepezcuintes and if you are lucky a jaguar or puma, and a variety of bird species, at the same time beautiful waterfalls. This activity requires considerable physical effort and is only recommended for active people. It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age, people with respiratory, or heart problems or physical limitations.

At Borinquen Thermal Resort you can enjoy the best sunsets in Guanacaste, from where you can have views of the Papagayo Gulf and Bahía Soley as well as the beautiful Guanacaste “Pampa”. It is a combination of an active horseback ride to the Top of the World and the romance of a beautiful sunset.

Enjoy our two in one tour, where you will horseback ride on scenic paths with views of the mountains and the north pacific coast of Guanacaste, then you will have an energetic hike under the forest that will take you to the Misterio and Escondida Waterfalls and finish the tour riding the zip line cables.
