Amazing! Wow! We went from Flamingo Beach to Hotel Borinquen and the results were like night and day. It was peaceful, serene, and absolutely beautiful! You get your own villa and even a private porch with a hammock. The grounds are impeccably maintained and the food was awesome!.
For fun we splattered mud from the hot springs on ourselves, swam in the amazing pool and soaked in the hot springs. We also did the canopy over the jungle. I can't say enough how beautiful this resort is.

The Bungalow Superior is the first upgrade option for the Bungalow Room. It offers a sleigh king size bed and upscale furnishings and decorations. "Paradise found at Borinquen"
We absolutely loved our stay! The resort is surrounded by foliage, animals and beauty. This was our fist visit to Costa Rica and our favorite 2 parts are weather (no humidity) and excursions (horseback riding, white water rafting, zipline). Borinquen can help schedule your excursion so ask the front desk. Staff is very sweet from front desk to restaurant. The resort is gorgeous and clean, pool is large and plenty of places to sit. You can experience the sauna, hot springs and mud baths. The only thing I didn't have time for was the spa. If I had to advise on anything it would be the length of car travel and bugs, these would not deter me from visiting Borinquen again as my visit was so memorable.
