Quiet, spiritual gem in the mountains

"When we were booked into the Borinquen Resort by a travel agent because our main destination on the Pacific Coast was sold out, we expected to be disappointed and eager to leave. We couldn't have been more wrong -- at the end of three days and two nights there, we were trying to figure out when we could come back and stay for an entire week."

Amazing!

Wow! We went from Flamingo Beach to Hotel Borinquen and the results were like night and day. It was peaceful, serene, and absolutely beautiful! You get your own villa and even a private porch with a hammock. The grounds are impeccably maintained and the food was awesome! For fun we splattered mud from the hot springs on ourselves, swam in the amazing pool and soaked in the hot springs. We also did the canopy over the jungle. I can't say enough how beautiful this resort is.
