Getting to Borinquen Mountain Resort & Spa in Rincon de la Vieja is an adventure in itself! One third of the road to the hotel is gravel, however it is well maintained and accessible year round.

We are located roughly 47 kilometers from the Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR) located right outside of Liberia and the drive should take approximately 1.15 minutes.

Upon leaving the airport, make a left (or out of most car rentals - a right) and take the road towards Liberia. When you get to the "traffic lights" ("los semáforos" as local people know that corner), make a left and follow the Interamerican Highway to La Cruz (towards the Nicaraguan border) for about 12 kilometers until you reach the cross-road to Cañas Dulces. Make a right towards the town, you will pass the park and church of Cañas Dulces on the way, just keep on going and follow the main road and the signs to the hotel... At the stone fence intersection turn left for 3 kilomenters to the hotel. Borinquen Mountain Resort & Spa is 15.7 kilometers past town. You will soon be there!
