Green Hope

The CST program (Certification for Sustainable Tourism) of the costarican tourism board (ICT), has been designed with the purpose of urging all national companies - tourism and others, to get involved with the conservation of the environment and protection of natural resources.

Green Hope is Borinquen Mountain Resort & Spa's environmental policy designed under the guidelines of our company's vision and mission, which contemplate offering a differentiated service together with sustainable practices and use of resources.

The natural resources (air, water, forest, earth) present at Borinquen Mountain Resort & Spa, consolidate the "being" of our company and therefore, encourage us to stress our philosophy upon our staff and visitors inspiring them to love and respect the natural resources.

For this reason we firmly believe in recycling, environmental training for our staff, environmentally friendly projects with the neighboring communities, use of biodegradable products and disapprove negative practices which may alter the natural environment and resources.
